Remuneration Survey 2012
NZICA’s annual, independent remuneration and employment survey is the authoritative source of remuneration trends in the New Zealand accounting profession, with nearly 9000 responses.
The results have been displayed on the new and improved ‘Run my numbers’ tool. This handy tool allows you to search and refine the survey information by designation, experience, region and many other options to find the information most relevant to you.
The key theme in overall remuneration is stability. It is very much ‘steady as she goes’ in remuneration trends as you will see, also we have researched employment issues for the second year running.
There are two specific areas that we would like to draw your attention to however. This year’s survey data indicates there is a significant gap in remuneration for Chartered Accountants across gender and ethnicities. I encourage you to take a closer look at this information and consider its implications for your organisation.
The 2012 NZICA Remuneration and Employment survey is sponsored by NZICA SmartMove, our recruitment service providing members with support and guidance to help identify and reach your long-term career objectives. Servicing Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, SmartMove gives employers access to more qualified accounting staff than any other recruitment service. For more information and to register please see NZICA SmartMove.
|I’m sure these results will continue to generate discussion and deliberation in the business arena and provide greater insight into the broader aspects of our profession.
