Our tax team
The tax team:
- Provides member support for all tax issues including referring you to the right people or resources.
- Manages our relationship with the Inland Revenue (IR) and ACC and attends regular meetings. The team raises issues on your behalf and receives feedback from IR and ACC on all issues that affect you .
- Makes submissions on tax law and policy, and provides input on other tax-related issues.
- Visits our NZICA offices annually to keep you on top of developments in tax and accident compensation.
- Provides tax education by organising and delivering our annual tax conference, seminars on tax issues, and events.
- Works closely with our committees including the National Tax Committee and the tax subgroup of the Public Practice Advisory Group.
