NZICA Canterbury-Westland
NZICA Canterbury-Westland encompasses the region from Greta Valley in the North, through Ashburton and the cities of Christchurch and Timaru, inland to Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Methven, Fairlie, and over to Hokitika, Greymouth and Westport on the West Coast.
NZICA Canterbury-Westland has a diverse membership base of over 2890 members representing the corporate, public, rural, Government and education sectors and public practice. The Canterbury-Westland Leadership teams form the working hub of our area.
The main role for members on these teams is to ensure that our office activities meet the needs of the membership. Members are encouraged to engage with the office and use the service and support that is available through a wide range of events and courses held throughout each year.

Professional development
Approximately 40 professional development courses are held each year in the Canterbury-Westland area. A mix of half-day, full-day and tea-meeting styled events cover a range of fundamental topics, and topics of interest to the business community. The tea meetings provide a great opportunity for members to network with others, whilst half-day courses are designed to keep members up to date and informed in their work.
