NZICA Gisborne-East Coast

NZICA Gisborne-East Coast encompasses the region from north of Wairoa, through the city of Gisborne to East Cape. It has a diverse membership base of over 130 members representing public practice, corporate and the public sector. Members are encouraged to engage with NZICA Gisborne- East Coast through a wide range of events and courses held throughout each year.

Professional development

An extensive range of training and development opportunities are provided via courses and events. These are held throughout the region and are structured around the competency frame work and the learning needs of members.

Included in our specific activities from year to year are the following:

• informal special interest groups, with meetings often including guest speakers/industry specialists
• annual Accountants-Lawyers golf day
• annual dinner and awards presentations night
• continuing education courses for members.

Gisborne-East Coast Leadership Team

Branch Committees have become Local Leadership Teams under the Fit for the Future 3 changes approved by members in November 2011. The LLTs will contribute to, and support the engagement of members with NZICA in the Gisborne-East Coast Area, and provide input to NZICA on a range of issues.
