Member advisory groups
NZICA’s seven advisory groups provide technical expertise and represent member views across particular sectors and functions. These groups assist NZICA to develop relevant products, services, professional development and thought leadership. They also provide input on policy, standards and quality assurance.
Throughout the year these groups may contact you to seek your views on how NZICA can better support, engage and obtain input from the members that they represent.
Represents corporate sector views, communicate topical issues and provides technical input to sector-specific issues.
Communicates issues topical to public sector members and represents these members' views.
Helping deliver a high level of service and support to regional practices and primary sector accountants.
Represents public practice views, communicates topical issues and provides technical input to sector-specific issues.
The tax team works closely with the Tax Advisory Group to make submissions on most government tax proposals.
Provides technical input and judgement to practice review cases, and assists NZICA with setting policy and other activities.
